On August 19th, it will be one year since we lost Dwight.I didn’t want this day to pass quietly or feel heavy in a way that keeps people away, because Dwight was so much more than that. He was laughter, stories, energy, and someone who left a mark on all of us in different ways.
So this will be the first annual celebration of his life. A space for all of us, friends, family, anyone who knew him, to come together, remember him, and just be around each other.
We’ll share memories, spend time together, and honor him in a way that feels real. There will be seed packets for everyone to take home and plant in his memory, something living, something that keeps growing.
You don’t have to have the right words. Just come as you are.
