>> Since 2014, Duval Spring Fest has provided a platform for "local" artists, aspiring entertainers and entertainment entrepreneurs, creatives from Jacksonville and surrounding areas, and supporters of all the above-- this year, we're celebrating the 12th anniversary of Spring Fest with a game night kickoff, Fashion Friday featuring Jax-based designers and models, block party Saturday featuring the annual Mic Madness artist tournament showcase where artists compete for over $2000 in prize giveaways including performances during BET Hip Hop Awards weekend later this fall, and wrapping it all up on Sunday with community service day. Duval DJ Bravo will be on the 1's and 2's spinning classics and recents -- Top 40, Indie, Rap/R&B, and Caribbean. Food and drinks served.
Enjoy a few performances from some of Duval and surrounding areas' best performing rap and R&B artists including some of the artists previewing some of their material before they perform Spring Fest Friday/Saturday along with special appearances by some of the models and designers participating in Friday's Fashion Show coordinated by Candice Alvita-- Thursday guests may even catch a sneak peek of what will be on display at the Fashion Show the following day-- special media and industry guests will also be in attendance, a perfect way to kick-off the big weekend. Spades, dominoes, trivia, and other group games will be played throughout.

Featuring some of Jacksonville's HOTTEST designers, models, and performing artists 8pm-12am -- dress: 80s attire or semi-casual/trendy + camera-ready, because cameras will be rolling throughout the whole event. Support a curated collection of locally based small business vendors offering exclusive discounts on their products 7-8pm and enjoy tunes from 2 of the dopest DJs in the city; during vendor happy hour, 2 local pairs of students in need will be gifted a free prom tux and dress rental courtesy VIPSquad Entertainment (4 students total) -- Fashion Show coordinated by Candice Alvita + VIP & Luxe Bel-Air bottle service available via pre-order

Bring the lawn chairs, spades tables, and tailgate tents, to the Duval Spring Fest Main Event: the Mic Madness Artist Tournament Showcase & Block Party, and be ready to enjoy performances and see which 2 artists take home the top prizes including a free performance spot during Jax Summer Fest weekend and free performance spots + lodging during 2025 BET Hip Hop Awards weekend for adults -- FYI buying VIP tickets directly from performing artists is a great way to support them directly (they make 50% of revenues) and will help them win the annual title of Spring Fest Best Seller. The block party is free to the public, but a ticket is required to gain entry into the VIP area where seating is available.
