Dutton Island Community Garden, located just east of Donner Park in Atlantic Beach, hosts an open house and public workday on the second Sunday of each month. Our workday lasts from 9am-11am, weather permitting. Everyone is welcome to come out, have a look around, and chat with the gardeners. Volunteers are always welcome to work on group garden projects, or just mow, water and W**d.Children are always welcome and there are activities in which they can participate, from painting signs to planting seeds and watering plants from our old-fashioned hand-pumped well.
Dress comfortably for outdoor work- hats, gloves if you have them, close-toed shoes or boots- and bring water to drink.
