An illustrated public talk presented by Richard AnnisDurham Castle formerly encompassed the whole of the Durham peninsula, from the present Castle to the Water Gate and from the Galilee Chapel to Kingsgate Bridge. This talk outlines how and why a detailed survey of the castle walls was prepared and shows what a considerable amount of them survive hidden around the ancient core of the city.
Entrance Fee £3 - Tickets can be purchased on the door, at the event, or in advance from Carlton Post Office.
