The 138th Durham Miners Gala takes place on Saturday 13 July 2024.Join us and help us ensure The Big Meeting is even bigger and better than ever.
More than 200,000 people attended last year. There were more than Durham miners banners, more than 50 brass bands and in excess of 100 trade union and campaign banners from across the country and beyond.
Hosted by the Durham Miners’ Association since 1871, the Gala is the world’s greatest celebration of community, solidarity and trades unionism.
