Dunwoody Monthly Community Bike Ride

Join your friends and neighbors for a relaxed Sunday afternoon community bike ride along the Dunwoody Trailway, starting at Georgetown Shopping Center, going to Brook Run Park, then back. The ride is approximately 4 miles, mostly flat, and paced as an easy “slow roll.”
These rides are held on the SECOND Sunday of each month (March–November) and are intended to bring people together for a fun, welcoming ride around our community.
Timeline of Events:
3:45pm - Gather at Georgetown Shopping Center parking lot. Pre-ride instructions & safety briefing.
4:00pm - Ride to Brook Run Park
5:00pm - Return to Georgetown Shopping Center for post-ride socializing at one of the establishments in the center.
MEETING LOCATION: Georgetown Shopping Center 4510 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd (in the very front along Chamblee Dunwoody - just north of Wahaka Taqueria) Google maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sXBiCqYpn9WREwcT8
What to Bring / Be Ready For:
• Helmets for all riders
• Bring water
• Bike lock, if you have one
• Dress comfortably for the weather
• Bicycle in safe working condition w/ inflated tires
• Starting, stopping, riding independently without training wheels
• Children age 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult
This is a welcoming community ride open to riders of all experience levels, including families, recreational riders, and newer cyclists. We ride together at an easy pace focused on fun, safety, and enjoying time together on bikes around Dunwoody.
2026 Dates: June 28 (Due to rain on June 14th), July 12, August 9, September 13, October 11, November 8
