Dunlap Chamber Music Series: Moisés Molina & Cynthia Swicegood

Moisés Molina and Cynthia Swicegood met as doctoral students at Florida State University, where they were members of the Smetana Trio, one of only six string chamber ensembles invited to compete in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. Molina is currently associate professor of cello and director of the Cuba Center at the University of Alabama. Swicegood serves Wofford College as adjunct professor of music, piano. Their program features two of their favorite cello sonatas by Beethoven and Brahms alongside delightful and technically challenging works by Martinů and Piazzolla.
