About this Event
Front Tier Comedy returns to Dunfermline with another fantastic line up, headlined by comedian magician Chris Dinwoodie and opening act, musical comedian Eddy MacKenzie
Chris Dinwoodie “Woody” is one of the most highly rated magicians and entertainers in Scotland.
He combines mesmerising sleight of hand illusions with his unique Glasgow patter to break the ice at corporate events, weddings, and parties.
His wedding magic act is excellent for breaking the ice and giving your wedding that unforgettable edge. He is equally at ease with Children and will shape balloons and magic for the kids. He is the complete all-rounder and is the ideal entertainment for weddings, corporate entertainment, trade shows, and parties where he can provide a unique experience for your guests.
Woody also does close-up magic, table magic, mentalism, and stand-up magic in cabaret.
Chris Dinwoodie is a member of the magic circle (Silver Star) 3 x winner of the SCA Close-up Magic contest. Performed for Royalty and Celebrities
He has worked for a host of clients venues and hotels throughout Scotland and works in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, and Inverness for CJ Lang, Cash for Kids, Variety Scotland, Hampden Park, Arta, The Corinthian, 29 Club, Hilton Hotels, Hamilton Park Racecourse , Celtic FC, Thistle Hotels, DoubleTree By Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Gleneagles, Trump Turnberry, Cameron House, Radisson, Marriott, Sheraton Jury’s and MacDonald Hotels.
Woody passed his audition for The Magic Circle with a score of over 90% and received the degree of Associate Of The Inner Magic Circle
He was the first magician to win both of the largest close-up magic contests in Scotland in the same year – making him, ‘The Scottish Table Magic Champion.
He was the first Scottish magician to win the Scottish Conjurers Association close-up magic contest three years in a row.
He performs Dynamo-style magic combined with his natural Glaswegian sense of humour to leave his audience entertained and amazed!
Being the small, fat kid growing up in the East End of Glasgow he was a likely target for bullies. However, his quick wit would use their taunts against them and leave everyone laughing. This cheeky charm flows through his performance and is perfect for audiences who might not be the biggest fans of magic.
