About this Event
Join us for an early morning eBike ride along the ocean and bay beaches on Dune Road, from Hampton Bays to the village of Quogue, with a picnic breakfast in a beautiful outdoor park.
This tour begins at the CHARLES F. ALTENKIRCH PARK, located on the west side of the Shinnecock Inlet on Dune Road in Hampton Bays. Our eBike team will have your Royal Dutch Gazelle eBikes waiting for you, and we will properly fit and orient you to these luxurious Bosch-powered electric bikes. After the preliminary riders’ meeting, we begin this glorious morning ride west along Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. This is one of the world’s most beautiful waterfronts of preserved wetlands and majestic sand dunes. See up-close the preferred habitat of beautiful wild birds, including blue herons, snowy egrets, wild ducks and osprey, as well as surfers catching a wave at the Bowl. All this, while cruising along the bay riding on the world's finest eBikes. Our haf-way destination is breakfast waiting for us in the village of Quogue at a lovely outdoor park. After our hearty breakfast, we have a great return ride to enjoy. Now we ride east on Dune Road, with visits to the Tiana and Ponquogue beach pavilions and the fishing docks before we end back at our starting location at the Shinnecock Inlet.

How to prepare for your Electric Bikes A Go Go eBike Tour Experience
Please arrive promptly (or a few minutes early) for your start time. Riders late for the scheduled 15 minute ORIENTATION & FITTING risk forfeiture of tour ride.
Orientation and Fitting: This is when your Electric Bike Experience tour starts. Tour guides will properly fit you to your reserved eBike and give a tutorial of its specialized controls. A rider meeting will discuss safe riding and rules of the road for the group ride and answer any questions. All riders will be asked to demonstrate confident riding skills before we go on the group ride.
We require riders to wear sunglasses or clear eyewear, comfortable closed-toed shoes (no sandals or flip-flops), and bring sunscreen and a windbreaker jacket. During cooler weather, a suitable jacket and gloves are advisable and will make the ride more enjoyable. If you'd like to bring anything else (snacks, etc.), make sure to bring a backpack!

Andy & Mary Anna Morris
Organizers of Dune Road with Breakfast Electric Bike Tour, Hampton Bays, NY $125
As lifelong bicycling and travel enthusiasts, it was only natural for Andy and Mary Anna Morris to be curious about the many advantages of riding on modern ebikes. After five years of experiencing them on spectacular adventure tours all over the US and Europe, they realized that electric pedal-assist on a bike meant more people were now able to continue to enjoy cycling longer, improving fitness and well-being, while maintaining independence. Most of all, they are FUN to ride!
As a volunteer bicycling consultant to Southampton Town, Suffolk County and NYS governments, Andy is actively involved in the planning of safety improvements to the East End’s bicycling and pedestrian infrastructure, while encouraging cycling as a major force to tackle pollution and traffic congestion while increasing the health and well-being of its residents. Such sustainable movements are happening with great success all over the US and Europe.
Wishing to share their enthusiasm for eBikes with others, and bring riders to the best places to experience this “new way to move” on eastern Long Island, Andy and Mary Anna decided that 2021 was the ideal time to launch a unique mobile eBike touring experience, ELECTRIC BIKES A GO GO.
