Duluth Trails Festival 2026

The Duluth Trails Festival is a celebration of mountain biking, trail running, and outdoor adventure! Formerly known as the Bike Duluth Festival, the event has been reintroduced under new leadership from Duluth DEVO Mountain Bike Program, with an expanded vision that emphasizes inclusivity, trail stewardship, and multi-sport participation.
At its core, the festival highlights enduro and cross-country mountain bike racing alongside epic trail running events. Courses wind through demanding sections of iconic trails on and around Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN. Participants will be challenged with technical descents and sustained climbs and rewarded with sweeping views of the St. Louis River and Lake Superior. Races are designed for both advanced competitors and dedicated beginners looking to get a first taste of adrenaline-fueled fun!
New in 2026, is the inclusion of the Summit North Trail Runs. Runners will take on challenging terrain that links portions of the Superior Hiking Trail and Duluth’s broader trail network around Spirit Mountain. With distances ranging from 1.5 to 13.1 miles, these trail races offer an unforgettable running experience that will leave participants eager for more time on these legendary trails.
