Duke of Edinburgh Jewellery Skills - 12 Week Course with Charmaine of Eco Elegance

Come join us for a fun and creative 12-week jewellery skills course with the talented instructor Charmaine and her assistant Annie!

Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this course is perfect for all genders to learn basic techniques in jewellery making using creative, technical and business skills, with no experience needed.

The course will start on Thursday 17th September 2026 at 4:45pm at The Hub, The Glades, Bromley, and will run for 10 weekly sessions every Thursday across the Autumn term.

You will receive homework to complete over the Autumn Half Term holiday period. To have your Duke of Edinburgh Skills section signed off by our instructors, you’ll need to attend all 10 sessions and provide evidence of your half term break homework.

The confirmed session dates (with a break for Half Term holidays) are listed below:

Sept

• Thurs 17th, 24th

Oct

• Thurs 1, 8th, 15th

Nov

• Thurs 5th, 12th,19th, 26th

Dec

We are charging £20 for this course (that's less than £2 an hour of teaching!) which will include all the materials you will use to make the jewellery which is yours at the end of the course. We will provide the Jewellery tools to use in the workshop which will be available to purchase from us if you wish to continue with your new found skills after the course. These will be approximately £7-£8.

There are only 12 spaces available on this workshop so book your space quickly! You will need to provide evidence that you are participating in DofE (your DofE membership number or email from school/organisation lead). We appreciate that you may not have this information until you start your new term/year at school so this is only needed when you start the course, it is not needed to book the course.

Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to unleash your creativity and develop your jewellery making skills! See you there!

Instructors on this workshop are DBS Checked and all attending Hub Staff are also DBS Checked. Parental/Guardian contact details will need to be provided for emergencies.
