DUET TECHFEST 2025-Grand Festival for Technology Enthusiasts.

DUET TECHFEST 2025 is a tech festival organized by DUET Robotics Club with Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), GAZIPUR. This is the 5th edition of DUET TECHFEST and it will be one of the biggest tech festivals in Bangladesh. The theme of this year's festival is "Grand Festival for Technology Enthusiasts".
The festival will have 8 events:
•Line Follower Robot (3 Prizes)
•Robo Soccer (3 Prizes)
•Drone Racing (2 Prizes)
•Robo CAD (3 Prizes)
•Olympiad [Junior] (10 Prizes)
•E-Football Tournament (8 Prizes)

1️⃣ Line Follower Robot: A Line Follower Robot is an autonomous robot designed to follow a predetermined path, usually marked by a black or white line on the floor. It uses sensors (like IR sensors) to detect the line and continuously adjusts its movement through programmed logic and motor control. This project demonstrates the application of robotics, sensors, and control systems in real life, often serving as the first step in learning autonomous navigation and industrial automation concepts.

3️⃣ Drone Racing : Drone Racing is an exciting sport where high-speed drones, equipped with cameras, are flown through obstacle-filled tracks using First-Person View (FPV) goggles. Pilots control their drones with precision and quick reflexes, experiencing the race as if they are inside the cockpit. It combines advanced drone technology, real-time video transmission, and pilot skill, making it a thrilling showcase of innovation, speed, and control.

4️⃣Robo CAD : Robo CAD is a design-focused competition where participants showcase their creativity and engineering skills using SolidWorks. This event highlights the importance of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) in modern engineering, encouraging students to turn their ideas into 3D models that can be used for real-world applications in robotics and automation.
