Dueling Pianos: Stars, Stripes & Art

The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art (SAMA) Altoona presents Dueling Pianos: Stars, Stripes & Art, a one-of-a-kind fundraiser celebrating America 250 and the rich history of American art, music, and culture. Taking place Friday, November 6, 2026, from 6:30–11:00 p.m. at Scotch Valley Country Club, the USO-inspired evening will bring the community together through nostalgia, patriotism, art, music, and dancing. Guests will enjoy the Flying Ivories' interactive, all-request Dueling Pianos show featuring Big Band favorites and songs spanning generations, along with an American-inspired menu and festive patriotic décor. The evening will also honor veterans and those who served through memorial tributes, military discounts, and special recognition.
While celebrating America's creative legacy, Stars, Stripes & Art looks toward the future by supporting SAMA's mission to provide exhibitions, education, and cultural experiences throughout the Southern Alleghenies. Proceeds will help ensure that the arts continue to thrive and remain accessible to children, adults, families, and communities across the region. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the red, white, and blue theme! Dress in your best Americana-inspired look, from dress blues and patriotic touches to your favorite red, white, and blue attire.
