Join us in learning how to craft roses with duct tape! This beginners art class focuses on making duct tape roses, a project where you are also welcome to bring your own preferred colors or patterns of tape to, though all supplies will be provided.

Duct tape roses require only a few repetitive steps, and once you get the hang of the first five, the rest of it becomes a habit. You'll start with a simple rose spiral pattern with just two different colors (or more if you're feeling ambitious) and a pencil.
Jessica's job as an addiction counselor has taught her that in order to cope with fears and anxieties, sometimes you just need busy fingers. This craft is taught at schools during Prevention Lunch Groups in order to help the youth of tomorrow find better ways to have fun that does not involve the use of cell phones. You don't need any experience to start, just bring yourself and your willingness to learn a new art form! Whether you want your rose to be big or small, the first step is learning how to make a single petal.
