Gather up to six players – at least one of whom should be 12 or under – and join us for an afternoon of low-impact, high-fun quizzing.
About this Event

For years we've been running table quizzes from time to time, usually in a pub, in the evenings, and it's been great fun.

But recently, Louise O'Connor, who's always written these quizzes and emceed the events, suggested we do one that kids can take part in.

We know families come in all shapes and sizes and configurations and, of course, all are welcome.

We'll be asking questions to test the knowledge of kids throughout the ages, so there will be a role for everyone's strengths. (Remember how much you knew about dinosaurs, Enid Blyton, and space when you were eight?)

We'll also have some fun interactive rounds to test the whole team's art and physics skills.

Some ground rules:

  • Teams of up to six players – you can bring fewer – but at least one member should be 12 or under.
  • Younger kids, four years of age and under, can of course come and you don't have to count them among your players.
  • A table of players (and any smaller hangers on) will cost €40 for subscribers and €60 for non-subscribers.

For parents and carers with pals on other teams, we know how precious an afternoon "out" is.

So let us know if your friends are on a different team and we'll do our best to arrange to have you sitting close together – as long as you pinky promise not to cheat!

And for those of you without kids to bring, or who have kids you'd prefer to leave at home for a night, we're planning to have one of our regular pub quizzes in November.
