Duane Teske – the artist whose sensitive and detailed work brings fantasy to life, via the medium of pencil and graphite.

‘My love affair with the nuanced world of black and white began illo tempore.I have been heavily influenced by the works of Gustave Doré whose majesty to recreate the enormity of the imagination is overwhelming. Throughout the years I have developed an ability to create emotive and ethereal images that are inspired by literature, or just appear from my creative power within. Armed with a pencil and graphite powder, I have lost myself in the crafting of pieces of art that play with *light, shadow* and *emotions* – the quintessential elements of one’s life.
