Happy New Year! The first Denton Songwriters Guild meeting of 2025 will be on Tuesday, January 21st at Yellow Dog Art Bar. We meet at 7, start at 7:30. The current songwriting challenge prompt is "Back Into Circulation". You may use the prompt however you wish, it is meant only as inspiration. You do NOT need to write a song to attend, meetings are always free and open to the public. After the song challenge, we will vote on the winner of the coveted certificate, pick a prompt for next month, and, if time allows, hear another original song from attendees.
Every Tuesday is also Spoken Word Night at Yellow Dog! On Guild nights spoken word will take place in the back room.
