About this Event

Dyersburg State Community College (DSCC) Department of Workforce Development will host its annual College for Kids summer program at the Jimmy Naifeh Center in Covington from July 7 to 9, from 8:00 a.m. to noon each day. The program is available for children in kindergarten through seventh grades during the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.

This year’s program features the theme “Major in Fun & Discovery.” It will provide stimulating educational classes such as Confection Decorating, Arts and Crafts, Minecraft/Gaming, STEM, Medical School, and Intro to AI.

The cost is $100 per child and includes supplies, daily snacks, and a t-shirt. The deadline to register is June 30, 2026.

Scholarship Opportunities: Scholarships are available for students whose parents or legal guardians can provide documentation of demonstrated financial need, such as approval for SNAP or TANF benefits.
