DSA Interview Skills Workshop - 19 MARCH 2026

As Interview Skills specialists, we are best positioned to give your child a helping hand to master the art of tackling interviews, and to handle such moments confidently. Set them up for success by giving them the right preparation and to build their confidence in tackling not just the DSA interview, but for any interview they will face in the future.

This is a highly practical, hands on workshop (maximum of 5 pax) that will allow the trainer to coach each participant in a comprehensive manner. It is designed to provide each student the opportunity to not only learn interview skills, but to actually put the skills to use and to have an experiential mock interview.

This workshop will be run by Discovering Potential's founder, Siew Ling Hwang, who has extensive experience training students for their DSA interviews. Siew Ling is an Interview and Career Coach, and she is a Certified Advanced Behavioural & Career Consultant, as well as a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. • 4 hours program
• Date: Thursday, 19 March 2026, 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
• Venue: In PERSON at our office at 190 Clemenceau Avenue 6th Floor (150m from Dhoby Ghaut MRT)

Primary 5 and 6 Students​

​In order to maximise the value of this program for every participant, we will be requesting for information regarding the participant prior to the workshop. The information requested will be related to the DSA talent they intend to apply for and it is strictly intended for our trainer to coach each participant more effectively. The information will be treated with strictest confidence but participants are free to opt out of providing the information.

​All participants will be provided with the following after the workshop:

• Reference slides
• Individualised report containing the trainer's observations and recommendations

$380 per participant. Workshop fees are not refundable but may be transferred to another participant. Only the registered participant may attend. Parents and guardians are not permitted in the workshop.

Info: What to expect at your interview, the different interview variations and formats, important body language and non verbal behaviours

Info: Using our own D.S.A method, learn how to present your own personal stories, aspirations, and strengths in a clear, structured and yet natural manner.

Info: Learn general interview questions and talent-specific interview questions, be exposed to the key types of questions, learn from past DSA questions, understand the interviewer's objectives.

Info: Common issues faced by students - I don't know what to say, I don't understand the question etc. We will discuss real issues faced by students and provide tips on how to overcome them.

Info: Practice, practice, practice. All students will undergo a mock interview, with constructive feedback from peers and from the coach. Questions used are a mix of general and talent area specific questions, personalised based on the student's chosen talent areas. Questions are carefully curated to expose all participants to a wide variety of question types.
