You’re invited to the OSU Vegetable Research Farm – Dry Farm Field Day
Wednesday, August 26th | 5:00–7:00pm
Presentations will feature this year’s dry‑farmed research, including:
Dry‑farmed tomato variety trials exploring relationships between plant physiology, productivity, and fruit quality
Tomato drought‑stress trials evaluating how varieties respond to differing levels of water limitation
Variety trials featuring sorghum, cowpeas, corn, cucumber, cut flowers, and vegetable seed‑production plots, providing a broader look at crop performance in no‑irrigation systems
A selection of varieties will be available for tasting, including the dry farmed variety trials offering participants the chance to experience flavor and texture differences firsthand.
Speakers include Matt Davis, Lucas Nebert and Jim Myers.
