Dry Dock Open Day - A Weekend by Water

Set within the historic docks of Gloucester, these dry docks date back to the early 19th century. Built in 1818 and 1853, they remain in active use, forming a direct link between the industrial past and present-day craftsmanship. Here, boats are still hauled from the water, supported on timber blocks, and painstakingly repaired using skills passed down through generations.

Not accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
