Who:
Drunkhammer is a 2 day Warhammer Old World tournament event. Your event organiser is Nathan Goodchild details can be found in this players pack. My 40th birthday party is at the venue directly after games on the Saturday, it is a byo event and 90s themed. Everyone is so very welcome to stay and have a great time.
I am legally disabled with a numerological disorder from Covid vaccines so will have assistant TOs to help as to not delay anything and keep the event running smoothly.
What:
5 Games at 2000pts of Old World Singles Tournament for up to 50 players. This can increase with enough interest.
This event is a 2 Dayer held at Memorial hall in Caboolture. Please be courteous and respectful at all times.

5 rounds at 2.45 hours for each round.

Yes. But you must call out your opponent in a video on the event page, because it’s fun. 😊
LIST RESTRICTIONS AND SUBMISSION
No more then one behemoth character
No more then one Level 4 Wizard
Units not larger then 40
Special characters allowed except Green Knight
Mercenaries allowed
No Allies
List if deemed overly oppressive or unenjoyable will be asked to resubmit. I will be checking and politely ask to resubmit. If you’re worried your list might push the boundary please just email me and happy to read and work through the problems. Really the objective is so new players can really enjoy the event as well as competitive players being challenged to play tactically instead of relying on crutches.
We’re trying to go for a fair and fun tournament with a diverse field. If the tournament is overly restrictive I’ll be happy to lift all restrictions and instead ask lists that are ott to resubmit. We want maximum players and maximum enjoyment 😊
I will be hosting a list review the weekend before the event and there will be some prizes:
Bugmans Award (this person was drunk when they wrote this)
Narrative Award (best themed list)
Anti Meta Award (most unique army)
Your list must be in the format created by the New Recruit App. The App is available for free . Failure to provide your list in this format this will incur a 5 battle point penalty that will be applied to your overall total.
Lists must be submitted to New Recruit by Saturday 12th April 2025.
Lists that are not received on time will receive a penalty of 5 battle points that will be applied to your overall total. In addition, if your list is illegal (eg does not contain paths of magic, no nominated general, over points, illegal equipment selections and so forth), you will also receive a further 5 battle point penalty that will be applied to your overall total.
Any illegal list that needs to be resubmitted may only make the minimum amount of changes in order to make it legal. All changes will need to be approved by the TO.
The lists for the weekend will be OPEN.
The round one draw will be posted on THE FACEBOOK EVENT page and New Recruit on 11 Jan 2025. The first round draw will be random. First round grudges are allowed. Subsequent rounds will be using the Swiss Chess system.
WINNING THE EVENT
At the end of round 3, the player with the most tournament points will be the winner. If this results in a tie then the winning player will be determined by total victory points scored.

We will be putting forward a golden demon style painting competition with prizes. If you wish to enter please sign up and let me know which category you wish to be in. You can enter multiple categories. These entries do not have to be from your army.

So we will also be doing the Bugmans mug award going to the best all round gamer on the first day. This can be a diverse award that’s a mix of sports, painting and battle but also fun to play against. That person will be awarded Bugmans mug that’ll never go empty for the evening. If that person is a non drinker they can pass it on etc 🍻😊

No Painting requirements
4 TP for a fully painted army.
1 TP for matching basing.
AWARDS
Best Presented:
Use NR app to vote for the players choice army award. The player with the highest number of votes will win the Players Choice Army award.
In order to be eligible for the Players Choise Army Award, the player must have painted all presented models themselves.
Best Sports:
Use NR app to vote for Best Sports. Doesn't need to be an opponent, just somebody you enjoyed being around during the tournament. Ties resolved by most TP.
SPORTSMANSHIP AND CONDUCT
Sportsmanship:
Good sportsmanship is always expected at our events. If you have any problems with your opponent, please come and speak to the TO. If you are spoken to multiple times about your behaviour then penalties may be applied, up to and including exclusion from the event.
Round Time Calling
In each round we will regularly announce the time remaining. As the end of each round approaches you will need to complete your game if possible, ensuring that equal turns have been played if you have not. At the end of the round we will call for “Dice down” and all playing will stop. Any incomplete turns will be rolled back to the previous completed turn for scoring purposes.
Terrain
All tables will have 3d Terrain
Dice
All dice that are not clearly on the battlefield (of the respective game) must be rerolled. ie.cocked dice, or dice that land on magic cards, arc markers, army lists etc and are not flat, both players should discuss this at the start of the game and agree.
