WELCOME to the first event organised by the Club Drumetii, which translates in "hike" pronounced droo-mae-tzee-ae.
Everyone is invited to a drumetie to enjoy nature, great company and replenish the soul with positive energy and vibe.
This hike requires moderate level of fitness and will take about 2 hours.
We will meet at 7:45 for 8am start. Please note that the May Sezatoare starts at 10am and the early start of the drumetie will allow for both events to take place without much overlap.
Meeting point is the carpark of the Planetarium/Botanical Garden, in front of the cafe. The plan is to carpool to the Mount Coot-tha Summit Cafe and start the Spotted Gum trail going downhill. A car-pooling will be organised at the end of the trip to retrieve the cars left at the Summit.
Please ensure that you wear boots, hat, comfortable and warm outdoor clothing. Please bring your own sunscreen, insect repellent and other personal items that help you feel comfortable. Do not forget to bring water and a snack.
