Sacred Heart Beat Drum Making Workshop
Create your own sacred drum by weaving in your vision, intention, love, intuition and prayer. Drumming is active meditation and let the drum become your voice and your heartbeat. Drumming opens the feminine energy within us and when we drum, we are coming from our head down into earth and we are connecting with the heartbeat of our earth mother. It facilitates the ability to listen to our soul so we can understand our purpose and our connection to each other in the Circle of Life
Drumming reduces anxiety, tension and stress, promotes relaxation and well-being
In this workshop you will be supplied with everything you need to create a 16-inch drum and accompanying beater. You can choose between 4 different kinds of hides for your drum head. ~
CHOOSE YOUR DRUM HIDE:
Deer = $320 + $35 sound bath = $355
Elk = $335 + $35 sound bath= $370
Buffalo = $350 + $35 sound bath= $385
Horse = $350 = $35 sound bath = $385
Different hides give different sounds.
Deer hide is lightweight and has a higher pitch.
Elk hide is also lightweight but produces a deeper tone.
Buffalo and Horse hides have a deep voice.
ADD ONS:
Additional $40 for a dyed color hide with the following colors:
Additional $15 Rabbit fur beater cover
Additional $30 special drum beater with a rattle attached- you will also learn to make the rattle
We will also do two meditations and after our drums are created, we will hold a ceremony to welcome our sacred instruments into the tribe.
