Drum Circle Facilitators Guild 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting

The Drum Circle Facilitators Guild 20th Anniversary Conference is a weekend-long professional development event specifically for those using drums and percussion for recreational music making. The symposium-style gathering features presentations by industry leaders on a wide variety of topics including techniques for leading drum circles, business development, folkloric music, program design, and more.

Our Theme for 2025 is Celebrating Our Journey, Envisioning our Future in Rhythm. As this is our 20th anniversary conference, our theme encompasses an historical celebration and commitment to wisdom in our next stages of growth.DCFG has 20 years of changing lives and for the next 20 years, how can we be better? Knowing we cannot do this alone, and moving towards progress, we need everyone's help. We may not have had it all gotten it right over all the years, but we are ready to move forward and be an organization of example.

The 20th Anniversary Conference is for anyone and everyone who incorporates rhythm and/or drumming into their work; including settings such as:

• Schools/Education
• Non-profits
• Well elderly/seniors
• Health/wellness
• Community events
• Corporate
• Workplace training
• Social services

FEES/REGISTRATION:

The Registration fee includes conference admission and 7 meals inclusive Friday dinner - Sunday dinner. Travel and lodging are the responsibility of the attendee.

• Registration member rate: $479.00

REFUND POLICY:

• Full refund, minus 10% cancellation fee, if requested by registration cut-off date (February 3)
• 50% refund if cancelled after registration cut-off date (Feb 3)

LODGING and TRAVEL:

Myrtle Beach is served by several major airlines including: Allegiant, American, Delta and United. Visit the Myrtle Beach International Airport website for the most recent list.

Transportation to the Hotel: Ocean Creek Resort does NOT provide transportation to the hotel. Plan to use Taxi/Uber/Lyft to get to the hotel (about a 20 minute drive).

The Drum Circle Facilitator's Guild provides conference scholarships to assist those that might not be otherwise be able to attend. The Guild believes in supporting each other and "facilitating" attendance when it might not otherwise be possible. Scholarship recipients receive free registration that includes conference admission and meals. Lodging and Transportation are the responsibility of the recipients.
