Come send off a great summer drumming season before the great winter hibernation ❄️

We're back for another season of drumming and community building! Come see what all the buzz is about in our very beginner friendly, growing musical community. Read on to find out about the circle and stay tuned to the event page for more information about where we will meet this month, depending on what weather early spring at the lakeshore will bring us.

A circle of people is an ancient human way of working through the world. Where peace builds, especially in times of trouble.
A drum is an ancient relic of our own heartbeat, and where it comes from, Earth. Restoring our human-nature connection effortlessly as we listen to the beat.
And with this ancient knowing well-seeded inside of me - I am calling others who want to play, experiment with rhythm and sound, and build community to come the lakeside with me.
This free gathering at West Beach in Lakeview Park in Lorain will be a place to come together to socialize and enjoy some musical leisure together.
I'll bring my drum (and a few other percussive instruments to share in case you are thinking "but Courtney I don't have a drum").
This is an open space welcoming all experience levels as well (in case you are thinking "but Courtney I've never been to a drum circle before").
And my goodness if you have a drum collecting dust somewhere this is THAT chance to get back to the groove.
This is a conscious community-building practice I am offering to support Lorain's ongoing revival and offer back to the Lake, through sound, deep appreciation and healing.
Remember experience is not required, neither is a drum. Just a heart in search of connection with each other and the land.
This is going to be a mellow, no expectations place to experiment, play, and enjoy new experiences alongside like-minds in a circle.
