Drum & Beats Fiesta is a high-energy, interactive experience where drumming meets house dance music, guided by DJ Barbie’s magnetic movement flow and Marcuis’ powerful drum leadership. No experience needed. Just bring your hands, your body, and your willingness to play.

This is not just a workshop. It’s a rhythmic journey.

Led by DJ Barbi
We begin by breaking the ice and building unity. Through a playful connection activity and guided dance warm-up, you’ll loosen up and step into rhythm. Expect hand-palm coordination gameplay that wakes up your body and gets everyone smiling and engaged.

Led by Marcuis
You’ll be introduced to foundational hand-drumming techniques, including bass, tone, and slap. Through fun physical and musical exercises, you’ll develop hand control, timing, and rhythm confidence. Group call-and-response will lock in the beat and build momentum together.

Rhythm 1: “Yamore”
Learn this powerful rhythm step by step. We repeat, build, and layer until the entire group feels it fully in sync.

Rhythm 2: “Cubano Congo”
Dive into this traditional pattern with guided instruction and repetition until it feels embodied and cohesive.

The energy rises. The structure opens.
We transition into a Latin-infused rhythmic atmosphere where you’re invited to move, express, and improvise freely.
