Wait, what??? Yep! A Drop in Ring Bar. Stop by and pick out parts for a unique custom made sterling silver ring. First pick out a stone, then the bezel (metal that holds the stone) and then pick your silver band style OR pick from a variety of silver spoon handles. After all are chosen, 16th generation silversmith, Rene, will create your ring while you shop. Your ring will be ready in less than 30 minutes.
No need for reservations, just drop in while shopping during art stroll at The Local Artisan Collective located in downtown Ogden at 2371 Kiesel Ave, Ogden.

This ring bar is hosted by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World. He has been teaching jewelry and silversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 years. In addition, he has been featured in The Standard Examiner, The Signpost, KUTV Inside the Story, FOX13 Good Morning Utah, The Salt Project and KTVX Good Things Utah.
