Create an original scratchboard illustration inspired by 19th-century scrimshaw using sustainable tagua nut slices! See historic scrimshaw works on view in PEM’s Maritime Art Gallery and in East India Marine Hall, reopening March 14.
Regular Drop-in Art Making is held in person Friday–Sunday and holiday Mondays in our Create Space studios. Friday art making is recommended for ages 10 and up, while weekend and holiday activities are suitable for ages 4 and up. Activities are created and led by PEM art educators.
