Whether you’re new to flying or looking to sharpen your skills, Drone Safety Day is designed to get you out from behind the screen and into real-world practice.Join fellow drone pilots for a free, full-day, hands-on experience focused on safety, technique, and practical application. The day includes guided morning sessions, outdoor flight time with skill-based stations, and real-world challenges such as flying around a building while maintaining camera angle and control. Participants can work at their own pace, with options for both beginner and intermediate pilots.
You’ll also get an introduction to how aerial footage becomes polished visuals, with a live photo editing demo using footage captured during the day.
Hosted by Lee Burstein of Dynamic Systems and held at Goldey-Beacom College, this event brings together learning, practice, and community in a supportive setting for drone pilots to build confidence, ask questions, and gain practical experience.
