Drive Thru Luminaria

Join us for this very special event to commemorate those touched by cancer.
We will continue the tradition of the Relay For Life Luminaria Ceremony by having a Drive-Thru Luminaria event. The loop through Burgess Park (the one used for the Christmas light display) will be lined with hundreds of luminarias (candle lit bags) to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has taken too much.
This ceremony of light symbolizes the hope and perseverance with which we all continue to fight.
You can keep the flame of hope lit by dedicating a luminaria in memory of a loved one you’ve lost to cancer or in honor of
someone still fighting or who has beaten the disease. You also have the option to make a luminaria purchase in support of someone, either as a symbol of encouragement as they battle cancer or to recognize their participation in Relay For Life events.
To recognize someone who has provided support to a cancer survivor during their cancer journey, purchase a Caregiver luminaria to express your appreciation.
Your contribution will help save lives, give hope, and empower people through the American Cancer Society and its lifesaving mission.
You can order luminaria online at www.relayforlife.org/patitusville. Minimum online donation is $10 per luminaria. To order via
mail, please send your tax-deductible donation, payable to the American Cancer Society, and completed form to:
American Cancer Society c/o Sue Ongley
400 2nd St Pleasantville PA 16341
You can also purchase luminaria at the event.
Then, join us for our Drive-Thru Luminaria Event, which will be held from 7 – 10 p.m. Friday, August 14.
