Do you have unwanted household items you've been meaning to rehome, donate or recycle?
Bring them to PMHC's free Drive Thru & Drop Off - Reuse and Recycling Event and help keep valuable items in use and out of landfill.
This easy drive-through event allows you to donate accepted items without even leaving your vehicle. Simply load up your car, follow the event signage and Council staff and partner organisations will unload your items directly from your boot.
Whether it's clothing, children's items, books, mobile phones, pet accessories, scrap metal or household goods, this is your chance to clear out unwanted items and give them a second life.
How it works:
🚗 Load accepted items into your vehicle
➡️ Follow the event traffic flow and directions from Council staff
♻️ Stop at the relevant collection stations
🤝 Council staff and partner organisations unload your items
✅ Drive away knowing your items will be reused, repaired or recycled wherever possible
We're proud to be working with local organisations and businesses to help keep valuable items in use and out of landfill.
Before you attend:
✔️ Please only bring items that are clean, safe and in a condition that you would happily give to a friend
✔️ Accepted items vary between partner organisations
✔️ Some items cannot be accepted at this event.
