We visited this venue last year and found it an ideal place to end a run.There's always something going on (stuff taking off and landing mainly) and the AV8 cafe is a nice place to gather, with air con. They offer drinks, sandwiches, cakes, and hot breakfast baps and will be geared up for our arrival. There's a Boeing 747 and lots of other things to have a look at too.
Our run will take off from the Breakfast Meeting at the Cross Hands and is FOC, with social pressure applied for you to join the club if you haven't already :-)
Ivor and Phil will devise a route which keeps us off the A46 and wends its way through the countryside to what is a great venue. Watch this space.
Nearer the time, it would be great if you could indicate here if you are going as we need to gear up the cafe accordingly.
