Hello fellow party animals + all around good folks!
HBS is partnering with Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch to host Drink For A Good Cause- a benefit for WWAR.
Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch has been built to inspire veterans of all conflicts to get OUT + ACTIVE. Mike Delancey, a Pinellas Park resident who himself was critically injured during military combat in Iraq and confronted his own life changing injuries, is the man behind WWAR. The purpose for WWAR is to offer activities for all Military Veterans in need of a supportive and healing environment, to give a new sense of hope, resilience and strength as they move forward in their journey.
Lurie Park is a purpose built ADA City Park and is home to WWAR . It is a place for Wounded Warriors, Veterans, their families and the whole community to come and enjoy. The park has been designed to support both the physical and emotional needs of Warriors with fitness and sports at its core.
They offer a wide variety of recreational activities at the Park and have furnished it with specialist fitness equipment to build strength in both body and mind.
There are wide trails for hand cycling, walking and running, a pond for fishing , specially designed ADA Work Out stations and a large multi purpose sports court specifically designed for Wheelchair Sports and Events.
Drink For A Good Cause will be a fundraiser and celebration featuring;

Guest bar tenders + emcees, Molly of Tripping Animals, Amanda, Kate + Tegan from HBS donating all tips!
Mike Delancey will be hanging out to share information about WWAR, and to also share his story + the story behind WWAR.
