                  Driftland 4hr Endurance Challenge 2025Up to 40 teams of 3/4 drivers take to the track to see who can do as many laps of the track in 4hrs hours.
Cars can come into the pit area to change drivers and/or deal with any repairs, topping up fuel etc.
The car that covers the most distance in 4hrs is the winner!!
Each car needs to have its own phone in it (supplied by the drivers) for the duration of the 4hrs so that a GPS signal can be picked up to record the total distance done via the Strava app.
This isa NON CONTACT event.

As soon as 4hrs has finished all drivers must submit their Strava details into the clubhouse/driver sign on area.
All teams must have registered their times by 2.15pm, in order for staff to collate the information and announce a winner by 2.30pm.

*DRIVER/CAR ENTRY RULES
Cars can be a maximum of 1.6ltr FWD (This is to allow much more scope for car availability but please keep it cheap and sensible)
No Corsa’s/Astras can be used. (This is out with Driftlands control and is due to these cars being our sister companies’ main source of cars/engines for their formulas)
Road going tyres only. NO semi slicks.
Cars must have a minimum 2ltr AFFF foam extinguisher. No other variant ie size/powder etc is acceptable. The fire extinguisher MUST be fixed and within reach of the driver whilst still belted in their seat.
Cars must have front & rear towing straps. This can be seat belt material around a structural point but must be present and easily accessible. Under body chassis metal hooks on their own are not sufficient so must have tow strap or seat belt material hanging out in an accessible, visible position. Protruding metal tow hooks are unacceptable.
Driver must have a fixed back bucket seat and a minimum 3-point harness. Both must be fitted safely. For example, harness mounts cannot attach to seat rail. See pic for harness mount required angles.
Drivers require a long sleeves and long trousers at all times.
If an open face helmet is used, then a balaclava must be worn.
Cars must have your assigned number on both sides as well as roof.
2 working rear brakes lights.
No weight saving or modifications out with what is described here.
No oil or fluid leaks.
Cars should start the day and end the day looking like a car.
All drivers must have an in date full UK manual license. Failure to present one during sign on will result in no driving for the day. No pictures on phones acceptable. (This is an insurance requirement). A live DVLA check can be done also on the day.
A maximum of 4 finger gap on both driver and passenger windows. No windows, no driving. (Brings us back to the non-contact side of things)
All wheel bolts / nuts must be always present. Plastic wheel trims must be removed.
1 single phone must be used and left in the vehicle for recording you GPS laps.
