We’re heading back to the Leon River.
If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get your kayak back on the water, this is it.
We’ll put in below Miller Springs Spillway and follow approximately 3 miles of the Leon River downstream to Heritage Park, near Summer Fun. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the scenery, stop to fish if we feel like it, and spend a few hours doing what Pond Hoppers do best—getting outside with good people. Plenty of shade to block the sun and wind!
Whether you’ve paddled this stretch before or it’ll be your first time, come join us.

🕘 Meet up at 9:00 AM. Launch no later than 10:00 AM.
🛶 Route: Miller Springs Spillway → Heritage Park

Bring your paddle craft, a life jacket, plenty of water, and whatever you need for a good morning on the river.
We’ll post parking and launch details as we get closer, once we see how many people are coming.
