Melodic top lines, drilling riffs, thrashing grooves and cosmic chilling synthesizers, creates a diverse soundscape. Between building aural worlds for the solar punk duo ManifestiV, soundtracking Little Spark Films horror features The Torturer, Vicemares (with death metal & more parody lyrics touching on everything from global warming to karma) and Death World, reuniting with posh Dallas metal quintet LaME. and work as a mortician, PARAGRAPH TAYLOR (or simply '¶') can never sit still. ¶ performed most of a favorite album of theirs, Year Zero by Nine Inch Nails, back in the year it was based, 2022. The lyrics, written in 2007, uncannily predicted the new normal bestowed upon us all, even by that time. They even moreso apply to how things have evolved on the world stage this late in 2026. So, alongside performing the most relevant Year Zero cuts to the times, ¶ will finish this special set with a second act, putting down the microphone of tribulation and picking up the baritone (guitar) of armageddon, as they play to the vinyl's Side A of Inferno by Boards of Canada, released this year. Eerily fittingly, the dawn of ¶'s guitar interpretation of Inferno transforms the sunset of ¶'s Year Zero vocals in an oddly comforting way, showing that even in the end, anything can be a new beginning. https://linktr.ee/paragraphtaylor
