Dred Scott Freedom Jazz - a tribute to Bruce Barthol

, musical director for this year's SF Mime Troupe summer show, presents an evening of songs arranged by Dred and taught to him by his political mentor and close friend, Bruce Barthol.

Bruce was the first bass player in Country Joe and the Fish, and was the SFMT composer for over 30 years. He died last year.

Freedom Jazz plays songs of rebellion, resistance, and rabble-rousing accompanied by a short history of each song written by Bruce Barthol.

Tickets are $20 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
