The DREAMWAVE ACCESS Expo & Conference is a one-day regional event that brings together people with disabilities, families, educators, interpreters, healthcare professionals, businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, community organizations, and advocates to promote accessibility, inclusion, education, and community collaboration.
Whether you're looking for valuable resources, professional connections, educational workshops, local services, or simply an opportunity to engage with your community, there is something for everyone.
Together, we can build stronger connections, increase awareness, and create lasting change throughout our region.
What You'll Experience
Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to:
• Explore exhibitors featuring disability resources, assistive technology, healthcare services, educational programs, businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, community organizations, artists, authors, crafters, makers, and local vendors.
• Attend educational presentations and workshops.
• Meet professionals serving Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, disability, and accessibility communities.
• Network with families, educators, students, employers, interpreters, service providers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and community leaders.
• Learn about employment opportunities, educational programs, community services, and volunteer opportunities.
• Discover new products, creative businesses, and community resources.
• Participate in door prize drawings throughout the day.
Professional Development
In addition to the community expo, DREAMWAVE is expanding its educational offerings with professional learning opportunities.
Interpreter workshops and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are currently being planned through HANDWAVE Interpreting, a professional division of DREAMWAVE.
A separate registration event for interpreter workshops and CEUs will be available soon.

General Admission
Admission is FREE.
A ticket is not required to attend.
However, we encourage everyone to reserve a free Eventbrite ticket. Registered attendees will automatically be entered into our door prize drawings and help us better plan for seating, materials, and refreshments.

Location
The Holiday Inn in Martinsburg, West Virginia, is conveniently located along Interstate 81 in the heart of the Eastern Panhandle.
The conference is easily accessible from many surrounding communities, including Frederick, Maryland; Hagerstown, Maryland; Winchester, Virginia; Northern Virginia; Harpers Ferry; Shepherdstown; Charles Town; and the greater Washington, DC region.
