If you are looking to escape from a dream or want to fall back into a dream of nostalgia, melancholy and feelings washed away by hazy ambient sounds and reverberation then you are in the right place. 2 acts delivering, a concoction of indie, dreampop, and postpunk as we welcome the fall season in Prague.
1. ROYE (IND/CZ, Indie,dreampop,postpunk)
ROYE is an indie, dreampop and shoegaze act based out of Prague Czechia who started to write new material shaped from his strong influences of the late 80s and early 90s indie/post punk/shoegaze bands. After releasing a series of singles, ROYE, released his first self-released lo-fi shoegaze/dreampop full length album ‘Slow’. The album focused on mid-tempo reverb drenched drum sounds, airy vocals with a mixture of wobbly synth and fuzzy/chorus laden guitar textures meandering the themes of isolation, hope, love and loss as it takes the listener on an intimate journey of swirling dreampop. Since its release, many of the singles have been picked up by various indie/alternative radio stations from the US, UK, Australia and continental Europe. Recently, ROYE released his sophomore album ‘Funeral of feelings’ in November’24 taking his cold wave, post punk/indie influences further and combining with the dreampop/shoegaze sensibilities evoking a feeling of nostalgia and escapism. In May 2025, ROYE embarked on playing gigs in EU and completing a three city tour of Spain making stops at Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia.

2. Momo & der void is an Austrian soft rock project using German lyrics and psychedelic soundscapes to try and make sense of the world within. Imagine something like Tears for Fears meeting Falco while listening to Tame Impala. After releasing their debut album in 2023 and playing gigs around Austria, the first new single of the latest EP called 'Ganz Allein (Sterne Schauen)' was released in March 2024.
