Join us in the NAC’s Atelier Shenkman Smith for Bougie Birch's Dreamcatcher Workshop. Under the guidance of Indigenous artist and educator, Ashley Clark, craft your own dreamcatcher in a 1.5-2 hour session. We supply the materials; you bring the inspiration.
Dive into Indigenous artistry, learn about the resilience of Indigenous communities throughout history, and be part of a hands-on experience that bridges cultures. With Bougie Birch, it's more than a craft – it's a journey into heritage. Come, connect, and create.
This workshop takes place at 1 Elgin St, in the National Arts Centre’s Atelier Shenkman Smith which is located across from the Box Office.

Venez participer à l’atelier de fabrication de capteurs de rêves organisé par Bougie Birch à l’Atelier Shenkman Smith du CNA. Dans cette séance de une heure et demie à deux heures, l’artiste et formatrice autochtone Ashley Clark vous aidera à fabriquer votre propre capteur de rêves. On s’occupe du matériel; il ne manque plus que votre inspiration!
Plongez dans l’art des Autochtones, découvrez la résilience de leurs communautés dans l’histoire et participez à une expérience manuelle qui rapproche les cultures. Bougie Birch, ce n’est pas seulement de l’artisanat – c’est une incursion dans la culture autochtone. Venez, échangez et créez.
