A 120-Hour Training, In-Person and Online via Zoom, October 2026 through April 2027
The Dream Seed Sound Healer Training Program is an immersive multicultural course designed to give people a hands-on approach for facilitating sound healing sessions. Participants will strengthen their capacity as sound workers, walking away with the skills and knowledge to be able to begin to incorporate sound into healing sessions and meditative environments through an interdisciplinary approach, bridging the fields of sound, science, sacred music, energy work, and ceremonial healing traditions. This program is for people of all levels of experience with sound, music and healing work, and is great for those who want to go deeper into doing sound healing work for others as well as those who want to explore sound for personal practice. Participants who meet the attendance requirements will receive a certification of course completion.
In-Person Class Sessions (Workshops at Golden Drum are denoted “at GD” and are 6 hours with a 1-hour break on Saturdays, usually 1-7pm):
-Oct 11-12 Awakening the Sound Practitioner Within: A 2-Day Retreat in the Catskills with Drum Making Ceremony
-Oct 24th: Sound Healing Fundamentals: Creating Sonic Environments (at GD)
-Nov 7th: Freeing The Voice (at GD)
-Nov. 21st: Wind Instruments for Sound Healing (at GD)
-Dec 12th: Creating with Rhythm and Song (at GD)
-January 9: World Healing Music with Kevin Nathaniel (at GD)
-Jan 30: Sonic Acupuncture: Close Proximity Healing with Musical Instruments (at GD)
-Mar 13: Sound and the Elements (at GD)
-April 10-11: Closing 2-Day Retreat in the Catskills
Additionally this in-person training includes:
-5x Exclusive group zoom meetings (90-minutes each, scheduled on select Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9pm EST)
-2x 1-on-1 phone check-ins with the program facilitators
-Homework assignments that will get you doing sound work on your own and with other people.
-A number of pre-recorded video lectures and workshops.
