The race you love to hate is back: Dreaded Druid Hills 10K! The course will be the same as last year.
Do you love running hills? Then this is the race for you!
The race begins at the Mansion House loop in Druid Hill Park, winding its way past the Rawlings Conservatory, the Maryland Zoo entrance and then through the Disc Golf Course. It’s then in the back section of Druid Hill Park where the hills greet you head on! Not to worry, there’s a water stop back there with a large presence of the Baltimore Pacemakers cheering you on & giving you that extra support. Reach the top of the last hill, then turn around and do it all again. No problem!
Our finish line festivities are ice cold watermelon, water & Gatorade-- all in the shade.
In the past we have made this race with a shirt option, but we are giving back to the running community by giving all entrants a race shirt at the non-premium price. This year’s shirt will be Men’s & Women’s Under Armour short sleeve performance t-shirt. Pint glasses will be given to race finishers (in person finishers only) while supplies last.
This race is a rite of passage among the Baltimore running community & beyond. Runners get bragging rights to wear the shirt, and then some!
