# Equity in Healthcare: Empowering People with Disabilities to Advocate in Healthcare
Join the Disabled Resources Center (DRC) for a free six-part hybrid training series focused on healthcare equity, disability rights, self-advocacy, and systems change.
People with disabilities often face barriers when seeking healthcare, including inaccessible medical equipment, communication challenges, provider bias, and limited access to preventive care. This series will provide participants with practical tools, knowledge, and resources to advocate for equitable healthcare and help create lasting change in our communities.
