About this Event
Step into the world of Rembrandt van Rijn and experience Amsterdam through the eyes—and sketchbook—of one of history’s greatest artists. Drawn by Rembrandt is not just a tour, but a creative journey through the very streets that shaped his life and work.
Beginning in his old neighbourhood, you’ll wander past the places that once inspired his masterpieces, uncovering stories and hidden details that bring the 17th century vividly to life. Along the way, you’ll pause to draw, experimenting with your own lines and observations just as Rembrandt did—capturing fleeting moments, light, and character in the city around you.
Drawing was central to Rembrandt's process, often used to explore ideas and study the world from life , and this experience invites you to do the same. The journey culminates at the Rembrandt House Museum, where the artist once lived and worked, offering a rare chance to step inside his creative universe and complete your own artistic exploration. Whether you’re an art lover or simply want to experience Amsterdam in a new and different way, this immersive experience lets you slow down, look closer, and connect with Amsterdam—and yourself—in a truly unforgettable way.
