This short course is perfect for complete beginners as well as more experienced artists looking to refresh their knowledge and sharpen their technical skills.

Over four consecutive weeks, you’ll build a strong foundation in drawing by exploring essential principles that lead to a deeper understanding of how to observe and represent the world on paper.

Starting with the basics — composition, proportion, shape, and perspective — you’ll progress toward more complex concepts like light, tonal values, materiality, and texture. Working through observation from life, you’ll develop both technical accuracy and creative perception.
