Drawing Into the Solstice: Introduction to Drawing w/ Catherine McCarthy

This fun one day drawing workshop is designed for those who would love to learn the basic skills of drawing. Participants will learn essential drawing skills that align our eyes with our hands to translate the three dimensional world onto a flat sheet of paper.

Drawing shares a natural kinship with meditation. Through sustained attention, participants will find calm and focus, gently detaching from habitual thoughts and language to render seasonal plans, branches, and the foods of autumnal harvest.

Welcome to adults of all abilities, don't be shy! Designed for absolute beginners and welcome all that want to be reintroduced to this centering practice.

Materials will be provided. Bring your curiosity.
