Drawing Insects: From Specimens to Life
About this Event
Saturday, July 25th AND Sunday, July 26th from 9am-3pm
Join us for this 2-day workshop combining art and ecology. We'll draw from specimens and learn basic insect morphology with a particular focus on pollinators. Then, we'll head outside to observe and draw from life! No prior art or entomology experience required.
This workshop is taught by artist-naturalist Lorna Dielentheis, and is generously supported by the One Hive Foundation. Due to this support, we are able to offer this workshop to our community on an optional donation basis. Please consider making a donation that supports our mission, future programming, and conservation efforts at Rock Point (suggested range: $25-$150). Use code ROCKPOINT100 to access free tickets. Please only sign up for this workshop if you are able to attend both days.
