Drawing in the garden workshop

Come spend a morning drawing in therapeutic gardens of Lothlorien.
Using the gardens as inspiration, you will be guided through a set of prompts to explore your own artistic style. Throughout the workshop we will be using foraged, handmade art materials by Old Mill Arts, which are beautiful and versatile art materials to energise your drawing style.
I hope this workshop inspires you to keep drawing, with this in mind you will be given a sketchbook to take home. Sketch-booking can act as a visual diary; helping develop a sense of self and place as you observe and connect with the world around you.
I will bring a few sketchbook examples, and you are also welcome to bring your own sketch-books or drawings to share with the group.
This workshop is open to everyone, no matter where you are in your creative journey. Open to beginners who are looking for new ways to find creative wellbeing, or for seasoned artists who would enjoy time in the garden, experimenting with a new materials and meeting creative folk.
Our timetable roughly follows this pattern:
Meet in the garden. Welcome with teas / coffees / fruit / biscuits.
Tour around (what would otherwise by private) gardens.
Introduction to the art materials + some creative methods.
Still life drawing / passing art materials around. Timed sessions.
Pause for refreshments
Free time drawing in the garden.
Gather again for small reflections and goodbyes.
There's a few 1/2 price tickets. Please bagsie them if they would help come to this workshop. I would rather you were there then werne!!
