Drawing: Experimental Mark Making
Advertisement
Break away from traditional drawing and explore loose, intuitive, contemporary approaches to making marks. In this class, we’ll experiment with a variety of unconventional drawing methods and materials to create expressive lines, textures, and abstract forms.
Instruction will blend guided studio exploration with a visit to the galleries, where we’ll look at how artists use gesture, movement, and inventive processes in their own work.
Designed for all experience levels, participants will leave with a series of experimental drawings and a fresh sense of freedom and curiosity in your mark making practice.
Tickets are $213 ($177.50 members and adults 25 and under). Reserve your spot online or with Guest Experience at (479) 657-2335 today.
All materials are included. Class runs August 6 – September 10.
